A planetary model of the Bohr-Rutherford atom. In 1911, Ernest
Rutherford made a series of experiments, came to the conclusion that
the atom is a kind of planetary system, in which
the electrons move in orbits around
the heavy positively charged nucleus located in the center of the atom ("model of the atom
Rutherford").
