i want to tell you about my beautiful, rather big, city called saratov. there is an exciting history which goes back 479 years. our town was visited by a lot of famous people including pushkin and even peter the first, the great russian tsar.
nowadays, saratov is a big, industrial city, with a population of about one million people. but there are also many monuments and interesting places in saratov, such as theatre square, the radishchev museum, and many others. i enjoy walking on kirova avenue or in liphi city garden. there are many picturesque buildings in these places.
saratov is a center for opera and drama. in spite of the fact that i am crazy about theatre, i visit them rather seldom because the tickets to performances are too expensive for me.
i am proud of my city and believe that saratov will become one of the most popular cities in europe in the next ten years.
