Родилась Анастасия в Норильске, но еще в 13 лет она с матерью переехала в Астрахань, где и проживает сейчас. Отца Настя некогда не видела и как говорит мать, он умер от сердечного приступа. Псевдоним Настя выбрала себя исходя из  своего прозвища в школе – Стейс, а фамилию позаимствовала у Джона Крамера из фильма «Пила». Вообще Настя любит фильмы ужаса, триллеры и независимое французское кино. Кроме того она любит бродить по заброшенным зданиям и гулять по кладбищу. Но при этом Настя боится переходить дорогу и вообще достаточно замкнутая девочка. Как говорит сама Стейс Крамер, она увлекается готикой, ненавидит алкоголь и мечтает стать настоящей писательницей. Хотя если учитывать количество тех, кто читал «50 дней до моего самоубийства» эта ее мечта уже сбылась.
