During the reign of Prince Volodymyr the Great, the first stone church in Ukraine was built. The Golden Gate, built in the 11th century, was the primary entrance to the fortress. It was very famous in Eastern Europe. It was restored in 1989.
St Sophia’s Cathedral is located not far from the Golden Gate. It faces a square, in the centre of which there is a monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky, the Hetman of the Ukrainian Cossacks.
St Sophia’s Cathedral was often used to receive foreign ambassadors and sign treaties in the past.

Dear Anna, Here i have got some information for you. I go to school In Russia.Our schools not big and not little. Our day starts at 8:30 oclock in 1 first time and in 13:30 at 2 time. Our school start at 8:30 and ends at 14:30 (6 lessons). We have school uniform too!Its can be gray or blue or black. Our school like typical school at the russia. Here is a photograph of my school.Its really nice school! Music is my best subject and our teacher is great.I love to listen some music on this lessons and study with good Teachers.
