summerhill school
a man called a. s. neill opened this school in 1921. neill kner
well what kinds of problems many children have at school and he
believed he could help them feel free. so each child there can
choose what he wants in life. the children at summerhill decide
themselves if they want to have lessons or not. it is strange, but
most of them do. they often come from schools at which they
were unhappy and didn't want to do any work at all. but at sum-
merhill they usually decide that to have classes is more interest-
