Youth and the youth movement have become an important factor in the public and political life of our state. Youth are the future of each nation, of each country. Young people have always been the first where it was most difficult, where strong arms and enthusiasm were neccessary. Nowdays democratic changes are taking place in Ukraine. Our young people have begun to take a more people interest in the home and foreign policy of Ukraine. All Organizations for schoolchildren are not based in schools, they unite young people of different towns or district.The strongest youth organization is the Students Brotherhood. It unites students from all parts of Ukraine. This organization is playing a very important role in democratic changes that are taking place nowadays. A group of members of this organization from different institutes and universities organized a hunger strike in Kyiv in October 1990 and had a great influence ever some decisions of the Ukrainian Parliament. Another youth organization is the Plast. It is like the Boy Scouts. The organization unites boys and girls from the age of fourteen for purposes of education, sports, and culture. The Plast educates its members to be faithful to God and Ukraine. This organization was formed in Lviv in 1911, but from 1930 it did not function. Now boys and girls are very active in newly formed Plast sections.The independent Ukrainian Youth League is very active in Ukraine too. Its members organize pickets, strikes, and demonstrations.There are some other organizations whose aims are to revive the Ukrainian culture and traditions, to protect nature, and to maintain free and sovereign Ukraine.

Для поездки в Беларусь россиянину нужен загранпаспорт. На границе поезд проверяют пограничники. На вокзале/в аэропорту всех приезжающих встречают КГБшники. Непосредственно после приезда необходимо зарегистрироваться.

Некоторое время я и сама была уверена в том, что для поездки в Беларусь нужен загранпаспорт. Или, как на границе с Украиной, в общегражданский паспорт поставят отметку о пересечении границы и тем самым сделают паспорт недействительным. Оказалось, что никакого загранпаспорта не нужно, никакие погранцы по поезду не ходят и паспорта не портят.
Что касается КГБшников, ответственно заявляю: фигня полная. Никакие КГБшники всех прибывших не встречают. Милиционеры на вокзале есть, но это естественно. Да и те только один раз проверили металлоискателем мой багаж. Было это вскоре после взрыва в минском метро.
По поводу регистрации: регистрироваться надо, если прибываешь на срок свыше 3 дней (могу ошибаться). Но и документы проверяют далеко не так часто, как в Москве. У меня так не проверяли ни разу.

For some time , I myself was convinced that for a trip to Belarus need a passport . Or, on the border with Ukraine in the regular passport will put a mark on the border and thus make passport invalid. It turned out that no passport is not necessary , no pograntsy not go on the train and do not spoil the passport .

Regarding KGBshnikov responsibly declare that full garbage . No KGBshniki not meet all arrivals . Policemen at the station there, but that's natural. And those once checked my luggage metal detector . It was soon after the explosion in the Minsk metro .

Regarding registration : register should , if arriving for a period exceeding 3 days ( could be wrong) . But the documents are not checked as frequently as in Moscow. So I have not tested once.
