Boris Akunin was born in Georgia in 1956.His mother was a teacher and his father was an officer.In 1958 the family moved to Moscow.He studied in the English school.Then he became a student of Moscow State University.After the University he translated from Japanese, American and English literature.Akunin wrote many works of fiction in the series about Erast Fandorin and his grandson Nicholas Fandorin.Akunin is the champion of Russian crime fiction.
