I live in Russia. Russia or the Russian Federation is a large country. Its area is over 17 million square kilometres. Russia is washed by twelve seas and three oceans: the Atlantic, the Arctic, the Pacific. The country is situated in Europe and Asia. There are many long rivers and deep lakes in Russia. The Volga is the longest river and the Baikal is the deepest lake. About 150 (one hundred and fifty) million people live in this country. There are many big cities and small towns in Russia. The capital of the country is Moscow. President Vladimir Putin is the head of our state. He lives and works in Moscow. Today the state symbol of Russia is a three coloured banner. It is white, blue and red. Russia is a beautiful country. I love Russia.

I get up at 7 o’clock in the morning. I go to the bathroom and then I have breakfast. I go to school at 8 o’clock. We have 5 or 6 lessons and then we have lunch. I come home at 2 o’clock. I meet my friends and play games. Then, at 7 o’clock, it’s time for dinner. In the evening I watch TV or read a book. At 10 o’clock I have a shower and go to bed.
