Speaking about such difficult theme like being a soldier I would like to say that we have to answer a question who is a soldier first. Is it a man fighting for his country, a man fighting for some truth or a person who serves the country without physical struggle?
On the one hand to be a soldier means to be a military man and serve the country and the people, to be ready for giving your life even if you haven`t seen the beauty of it , haven`t felt love and happiness.
On the other hand there must be some choice.
To sum it up I`d say-a soldier is a servant. Everybody serves. But somebody serves its country and somebody serves himself.
