On the 31st of December my dad and I decorated the New year tree. My mum cooked a special meal and  a New year cake. At midnight we congratulated each other and found our presents under the tree. i got a new mobile phone. Then we set up the fireworks, threw snowballs, sang funny songs and laughed. I was happy!
