Is "to study" a right or a duty ,or both of them? bring arguments

We live in a modern society, and our educational system is developed too in some ways. Also our students have the right to choose what is better for his life. Nobody can't say that you should study or not, you should know what you want to develope your social life. Somebody after 9th form prefer to work instead of studying, but mojority of them are obliged by his parents to study at universities, or high schools. As student life is the most important and the most beautiful part of life, the students also has to complete a lot of duties and responsibilities if they choose to study. He has to take preparation for the future life, and at the same time e has to maintain his duties towards the families, society and nation. At the end I can say: to study it's a right and a duty at the same time because everybody should know what can enhance your knowledge to have a decent life.
