a) My last summer trip was in July when my family and I went to St Petersburg. We went there by train. We stayed in an apartment on Vasilievsky Island and spent a week exploring the city and visiting its museums.
b) My last winter trip was a year ago when I went to the ski resort with my family. We did a lot of skiing and snowboarding. I enjoyed that trip very much.
c+d) Last August I went to the seaside for two weeks. As usual, I was with my family and we went there by plane - that was my last trip by plane, by the way. I don't like travelling by plane but it's faster than a journey by train or by coach (автобусом).
d) As I have said, I don't enjoy travelling by plane because I have to overcome my fear of flying (преодолевать боязнь полетов). So when I have to fly I try to read a book or listen to my favourite pieces of music.
e) My last trip by train was a few months ago when I went to visit my grandparents. The trip lasted just three hours. It wasn't much fun, but I had an interesting book to read.
