Many great holidays and anniversaries are celebrated in our country. But my favourite holiday, of course is New Year's Day. New Year's Day is the time for present, guests, wisher and a special meal. Everybody is merry on that day and wishes the next year to be good and happy I think children all over the world like this holiday very much because they believe, Father Frost bring to them New Year presents. Also, winter vacation begins with the New Year day and last two weeks. So children do not study, they can play hockey, make snowman, skate, play snowballs and others.
