Watching TV is important in the modern society because people can find out what's going on around the whole wide world or anything about what's happening or going to happen there or somewhere else. My favorite TV programme is the Cooking Shows because I get to learn new recipes or learn how to make a specific food. I prefer reading a book, but I would also prefer watching TV. If you read a book you can find out a lot about some specific thing and if you watch TV you can learn many things from just one channel and not by buying many different books. TV isn't an important role in the life of today's teenagers because nowadays they just go on their iPhone, iPad and such other new technology devices. Teenagers watch videos from their device, read from their device. Smart phones changed everything. If you watch TV too much your eye starts to get red and you get under lots of stress sometimes. So you should just watch TV for maybe 1 hour and get a rest.
