The world is changing and not all changes are to better. Some of them, such as climate change, are not good for anyone. Firstly, what is climate change? The Earth temperature is now higher due to greenhouse gases produced by industrialization, heating, cars and all of those stuff related to modern life.
Some people say that they cannot do anything to prevent this pollution and, therefore, the climate change. I disagree. I think everybody can do something about this; even it may seem something small. My grandmother used to say: “Many small things can make one big thing”.
What can we do? Well, firstly we can use cars less than other alternative transports, such as public transport, going to work by bicycle or walking. Secondly, something we can do is to use only biodegradable goods and to recycle (classifying recyclable products). Also we can always change the bulbs from home for energy saving bulbs and we can unplug appliances not in use. In addition, if in your country you have the option of choosing renewable energy, you can do it.
Finally we can also use reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags. These things not only help us save money but we also help protecting environment.
In conclusion I think there are a lot of things that we can do in order to improve our surroundings. Those above are only a few things that we can do, surely you have thought in some more.
