Belarusian Republican Youth Union was established in 2002 by combining public organizations "Belarusian Union of Youth" and "Belarusian Patriotic Union of Youth." The organization is the successor of the NGO "Belarusian Patriotic Union of Youth", "Belarusian Union of Youth" and the Leninist Communist Youth Union of Belarus (Komsomol), partially modifying its logo and retain influence and organizational structure.As part of the Union of Youth restored pioneer organization for children.
