В. В газетах говорят , что если бы водитель позвонил связисту, чтобы дать ему знать, связист остановил бы поезд  до тех пор, пока грузовик не двинулся. И потом аварии бы не произошло совсем.  (telephoned,not happened ) 
A.Если бы я был водителем я бы не пытался пересечь на этом уровне пересечения в любом случае. Я бы отправился в Глостер и пересек железнодорожный мост.(If I was the lorry-driver I not tryed to cross at that level crossing anyway. I drove to Gloucester and crossed the railway by the bridge. )
В. Ну, мы тут ничего не можем поделать сейчас. Но эти десять человек не умерли бы , если бы  водитель грузовика был  осторожнее.
