Four Russian bobsledder won the gold medal of the Olympic Games of Sochi on the final day of competition. The crew of Alexander Zubkov , Alexey Negodaylo , Dmitry and Alexey Trunenkova Governors crossed the finish line with the result of 3 minutes , 40.60 seconds in the status of Olympic champions. Athletes showed the best time for all four races. In second place is the Latvian team . Arvis Vilkaste , Daumants Dreyshkens Oscar Melbārdis and Janis Strang finished with a difference of only 0.09 seconds and secured a silver Olympic Games. Bronze medal - the American bobsledder Steven Langton , Curtis Tomasevich , Chris Vogt and Steven Holcomb , their gap from the leader was 0.39 seconds .
