Он его переводит с утра. He has been translating it  since morning.
У меня красные глаза, потому что я читал всю ночь. I have red eyes, because I have been reading all night.

Вчера весь день мы были в библиотеке. We were in the library the whole day yesterday .
Мы весь день работали с текстами. We were working at the texts the whole day.
Мы его еще не перевели, хотя переводим уже 2 недели. We haven't translated it yet, although we had been translated it for two weeks.
Мы приготовили обед к шести часам. We have prepared our lunch (dinner) by six o’clock.
К концу года я уже буду учить англ. 15 лет. By the end of the year I will have studied (или: will have been studying) English for 15 years.
