LISTENING Task 1. Listen to the text and write the words into each gap.

I don't really have one particular favourite place, in fact I have a few of them.

The first ones I wanted to talk about are shopping malls because you can do so much in them! You of course can go shopping, you can watch cinema, you even can find a nice place to dine there, and im not even talking about everything you can do there if you are hanging out with friends!

The second place is the park, because I like the fresh air and the shadows that the trees give especially in the summer. I think that this is the best place to be, when the weather is hot.

And the third place I like to go is just going outdoors. Sometimes it is not the best idea to go because of the long way you need to make before you will be there but really nothing can be better than a good picnic with tents nearby!

4-THE PRONOUN. Fill in the gaps with some, any, somebody, something, somewhere, anybody, anything or anywhere.
1. We need some water. 2. We haven't got any fruit. 3. Have we got some tea? 4. Would you like some coffee? 5. There are not any tomatoes in the fridge. 6. Does anybody like borsch in Ukraine? 7. 5-THE ARTICLE. Insert articles where necessary.

I usually have only a cup of  coffee in the morning. 5. I like the fellows I study with. 6. After graduating from the university she will work as a food technologist. 7. She often has dinner in the restaurant. 8. This man is an engineer I told you about. 9. Open your books on page 87 and read the text about food. 10. Do you like  plums?

7--THE ARTICLE. Insert articles where necessary. Pay attention to the use of articles with proper names.
