Если это какое времо, типо present perfect, где используется have, то там ты меняешь это have. Если у тебя глаголы по типу could should must итд, то ты меняешь их. И так же это может быть не так заметно если у тебя предложение по типу 'There is no milk', тут надо понимать, что у тебя молока нет, то-есть это отрицание, значит во второй части будем is there, а не isnt.
