I am going to tell you about my school. My school is new and modern and I like it very much. It has three floors. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are classrooms for different subjects, such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology Literature etc. There is a computer class in our school. We study computer science here. The computer class has the most modern equipment and the Internet access. We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the second floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances. There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field, a swimming pool, and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, swimming, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups. In our school we have also painting group, dance group, theatre group and rock group. All these groups are very popular and many pupils attend them. The teachers in our school are very skilled. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection, climat changes etc. There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February. I think that school years are very important for every person. It’s a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledges, and choosing your way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So I’ll never forget my school, my teachers, and my classmates.

 We have a friendly and united class. There are 26 pupils in our class and I am in good relations with almost all of them. I can say that I’m quite a sociable person and I have lots of friends both among my classmates and within my neighborhood. My class is rather important for me because I spend the majority of my time at school. We don’t only have lessons together, but we also attend additional school activities. Some of our pupils go in for sport trainings, some attend arts and crafts classes and some participate in school theatre. Surprisingly, there are a lot of talented and interesting pupils in our class. Personally I take part in school theatre. We often rehearse new plays and when the school celebrates something we present these plays on stage. The principle of our school appreciates it and he says that we have a good group of actors. My best friend’s name is Lena. She is my classmate and we share the same desk at the lessons. Lena attends arts and crafts classes. She is quite good at it and they sometimes organize school exhibitions. In my opinion, this positive atmosphere in our class is the result of our class teacher’s hard work. She is a great teacher and she often gathers us together for different occasions, which unite us as a class. For example, last week we had a small tea party after lessons, to celebrate a birthday of one of our classmates. Sometimes we even meet up in the city at weekends simply to chat or to have a walk.
 У нас дружный и сплоченный класс. В нашем классе есть 26 ученика, и я в хороших отношениях почти со всеми из них. Могу сказать, что я очень общительный человек и у меня много друзей, как среди моих одноклассников, так и среди соседей. Мой класс весьма важен для меня, потому, что я провожу большую часть своего времени в школе. Мы бываем вместе не только на уроках, но мы также посещаем дополнительные виды занятий в школе. Некоторые из наших учеников занимаются спортивными тренировками, некоторые посещают занятия декоративного искусства, а некоторые участвуют в школьном театре. Удивительно, но в нашем классе есть много талантливых и интересных учеников. Лично я принимаю участие в школьном театре. Мы часто репетируем новые пьесы, и когда в школе что-либо празднуется, мы представляем эти пьесы на сцене. Директор нашей школы ценит это, и он говорит, что у нас хорошая группа актеров. Мою лучшую подругу зовут Лена. Она моя одноклассница, и мы сидим за одним столом на уроках. Лена принимает участие в уроках декоративно-прикладного искусства. У неё это довольно хорошо получается, и они иногда организовывают школьные выставки. На мой взгляд, положительная атмосфера в нашем классе является результатом кропотливой работы нашего классного руководителя. Она замечательный педагог, и она часто собирает нас вместе по разным случаям, объединяющим нас как класс. Например, на неделе у нас было небольшое чаепитие после уроков, чтобы отпраздновать день рождения одного из наших одноклассников. Иногда мы даже встречаемся в городе в выходные дни просто поболтать или прогуляться.
