To start with the fact that millions of people live in cities and go to the countryside at their weekends or holidays. But there are people who always live in the villages.

There are pros and cons of life in the rural areas. First, in the countryside there is clear air, because there are no factories and plants there. Secondly, the countryside is often surrounded with a forest and there is a lake or a river where you can do fishing and swimming. Thirdly, people who live in the countryside always eat healthy food: milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, fresh meat and plenty of fruits (имеются ввиду разные фрукты, поэтому с окончанием -s) and vegetables.

But besides the advantages, there are some disadvantages of the countryside life. First, the houses in the villages often don’t have facilities such as central heating, gas, running water and well-maintained toilet and bathroom. Secondly, in the village there are very few places for entertainment. There are no theatres, cinemas, parks and art galleries. But the most important thing is that in the countryside there are no colleges and  institutions where young people can get education.
 
In conclusion, I would like to say that everyone chooses the best place for living. As for me,  I prefer to live in the city and go to the countryside on holidays and weekends.
