I really love my house. In the house I have my own room, where I spend a lot of time. I do my homework, play computer games, spend time with friends. On the wall of my room hangs a large map of the globe, and on the shelves of the closet with even, slender rows are models of military aircraft. And from the windows of my room you can see a small lake in which my sister and I bathe in the summer. There are so many books in her sister's room, she likes to read. Entering her room, you come across as if into another world, a world of fairy tales and adventures.

If you like travelling or have business trips at work, then you often have to stay in different hotels. Here are some simple rules which you have to remember not to get into trouble.

When you come to a hotel and ask for a room, a receptionist can offer the least popular rooms. So, try to find out as much as possible about the room they offer you. Ask about some other rooms, compare them and choose the most comfortable option.

Don't leave the documents, money or valuable things in a hotel room. Don't forget that the administration is not responsible for their safety. You can ask for a room with a safe, leave the things at the reception desk or take them with you.

Make sure that the food and drinks in the mini-bar are included in the bill. But usually you have to pay extra money for them. So, if you have snacks or drinks from the min-bar, be ready to pay twice the price for them. The same things cost less in the nearest shop.

There is an unwritten rule in most hotels. It says that you can take some things with you from a hotel. Not all things, but only those the names of which start with the letter "s" in the English language. They are, for example, shampoo, shower gel, a shower cap, soap, stationery and sometimes even single-use slippers. Don't take towels and a bathrobe as a souvenir. If the hotel staff finds out about this, you can have problems with the police.
