The Neglinka River
There are several rivers in Moscow. The Moskva River, the Yauza River and the Setun River are the biggest ones. But there is another big river in Moscow which nobody can see because it is hidden under the ground - the Neglinka River. When Moscow was first founded, it was built where the Neglinka met the Moskva River. So, then the Kremlin was surrounded by these two rivers. The Neglinka was very clean and people enjoyed fishing in it. But at the beginning of the 19" century, a tunnel was built for this river. Instead of the river, there is now a street called Neglinka. Today, if you want to see the Neglinka River, it is possible to go on a special underground excursion. Many tourists attend this excursion under the very centre of Moscow. But you have to be older than 18 years of age to do it.
My Hobby
Hobby is something we like doing in our free time. I love riding my bike.
I can say it has been my hobby for a long time. I learnt to ride it when I was six. My father bought me my first bike and taught me to ride it. My first bicycle was green with yellow stripes. I have had three bikes since that time. Now I have got a cool bike with 21 gears and I try to ride it as often as possible. In fact, I go cycling with my friends almost every day. I don't ride my bike in winter when there is snow or roads are slippery. I always remember about safety and I know all the traffic-related rules and regulations for cyclists. Anyway, my friends and I try to stay away from busy roads.
Cycling is fun and makes me feel good. It is healthy and environmentally friendly. Besides, I have made some new friends and we often go on short bike rides in our neighbourhood or the local park.

Можно сказать, что это мое хобби уже давно. Я научился ездить на велосипеде, когда мне было шесть лет. Папа купил мне мой первый велосипед и научил меня ездить на нем. Мой первый велосипед был зеленым с желтыми полосами. С тех пор у меня было уже три велика. Сейчас у меня классный велосипед с 21 передачей, и я стараюсь ездить на нем как можно чаще. На самом деле, я катаюсь с друзьями почти каждый день. Я не езжу на велосипеде зимой, когда лежит снег или дороги скользкие. Я всегда помню о безопасности и знаю все правила дорожного движения для велосипедистов. Во всяком случае, мы с друзьями стараемся держаться подальше от оживленных дорог.
Езда на велосипеде — веселое занятие, которое делает меня счастливее. Это полезно для здоровья и окружающей среды. Кроме того, у меня появились новые друзья, и мы часто катаемся в нашем районе или в местном парке.
