Hello! My name is Tom. I am 11 years old and I like space very much. My parents
gave me a telescope for my birthday. So
nowl can watch the planets and stars with
it. My telescope is made of metal. Thanks
to the telescope, I learned all about the
planets and stars. For example, there are
eight Planets in our Solar System. They are
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn,
Uranus and Neptune.
Jupiter is the largest planet, while Mercury
is the smallest.
Earth is the third planet from the Sun and
the fifth -largest of the eight planets in the
Solar System. People call it a "Blue Planet”.
The most beautiful planet in our Solar
System is Saturn. It is a gas giant. Saturn is
the second largest planet in our Solar
System. It has rings; they are made of
millions of ice crystals.
But for me, my favorite planet is Earth
because I was born here and my family and
friends live here too! Our planet Earth is the
best.
