Past Simple -простое время. Оно используется, если событие произошло в определенное время в и не продолжается в настоящем.
Строение:
Вопрос. Did(наперед) глагол без окончания..?
Пример:Did you arrive in time?
Утверждение. У неправильного глагола 2 колонка, у прав. окончание ed.
Пример:
She went to the store this afternoon.
They called the police.
Отрицание. did not/didn't глагол ничегоне делаем.
Пример: We didn’t go to the movies after all.
Особенности: Часто в Past Simple используются такие слова, как ago( 5 days ago – 5 дней назад), last … (last year – в году), yesterday (вчера), in …( in 1980 – в 1980 году) и т.п.
Время Past Continuous указывает на процесс, длившийся в определенный момент или период в В отличие от времени Past Simple, этот момент в должен быть назван прямо.
Строение:
Вопрос: Were (l, we, they, you)/ Was( she,he,it) на перед предложения +глагол окончание ing.
Пример:Was he playing?
Утверждение: ...were (l, we, they, you)/ ...was( she,he,it) +глагол окончание ing...?
Пример:You were playing
Отрицание:... were not... (l, we, they, you)/ ..was not.. ( she,he,it)+глагол окончание ing.
Пример: You were not playing
