The plot is quite original. We learn about Mia's life and adventures while reading her diary. This book is for girls aged 12–16. They will find answers to lots of their questions. I also recommend to read it before watching the film. When you have already watched the film, you can't enjoy the thrill of guessing what will happen next.
In fact, the film is awesome too! I really like Ann Hathaway who stars in it. Her character looks very realistic. She did a great job of turning from a shy cowardly girl into a cheerful and confident person. Watch this exciting film and you won't regret it!
