Story from the movie called "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"
For years,  Jake has been told stories by his grandfather about his childhood battling monsters and spending World War II living at "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" at Cairnholm, Wales. The home's children and their headmistress, Miss Alma Peregrine, possess paranormal abilities and are known as "Peculiars". One day Jake is being called urgently by his grandfather and goes to Abe's house only to find him dying with his eyes removed.  Jake is told to go to the loop of September 3, 1943 and that the bird would tell him everything.  As Jake is being joined by  his drugstore supervisor Shelly with her gun, he sees a monster from Abe's stories in the bushes that quickly disappears.
Following advice from his psychiatrist, Dr. Golan and by a letter from Miss Peregrine to Abe, Jake travels to Cairnholm being accompanied by his father Frank to investigate the children's home, learning that it was destroyed during a Luftwaffe raid. Upon entering the house, Jake is surprisingly welcomed by some of the children from Abe's stories. He is taken through a portal in a cave by children and he emerges in the year 1943 when the house was not yet destroyed. He is being greted by Miss Peregrine and explained that she belonged to a class of female Peculiars named "Ymbrynes", who could transform into birds (in Miss Peregrine's case, a peregrine falcon) and manipulate time. To avoid persecution for being Peculiars, she and her children were hidden from the outside world in a time loop that was created by her, accessible only to Peculiars and set to September 3, 1943. They are being allowed by this time loop to live the same day repeatedly and avoid aging as long as they stay inside of it.
Jake is introduced to the rest of the children, including aerokinetic Emma Bloom, to whom he is attracted (like Abe was). Jake is being told that he himself was a Peculiar and, like his grandfather, had the ability to see the invisible monsters from Abe's stories, which are called "Hollowgasts" (or "Hollows"). He is being told how Ymbryne was killed by them. The disfigured Peculiar scientists were turned into these monsters when the experiment was failed by them to become immortal by harvesting powers of Ymbryne.  These monsters are led by shapeshifter Mr. Barron, they Peculiars (mostly children) are being hunted by them to consume their eyeballs. They are allowed by these obtained eyeballs to become "Wights" with regained visible human form, but with milky-white eyes.

Russian education system was originally inherited from the Soviet Union without any significant changes. In the Soviet Union, education of all levels was free for anybody who could pass entrance exams; students were provided with small scholarships and free housing. It has produced nearly 100 % literacy. In the Soviet Union institutions were funded entirely from the federal and regional budgets. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, institutions found themselves unable to provide adequate teachers' salaries, students9 scholarships, and to maintain their facilities. Many state institutions started to open commercial positions. The number of those positions has been growing steadily since then. Many private higher education institutions have emerged, too. Secondary education in Russia usually takes eleven years to complete. After graduation from the 9th grade, which is compulsory, a pupil obtains a Certificate of Incomplete Secondary Education. After that a pupil has can either continue education for two more years at the secondary school, or to go to a Community College. The latter variant usually takes three to four years to complete and provides a pupil with qualification sufficient for most blue-collar jobs. After obtaining a Certificate of Complete Secondary Education a student can enter a University or a Community College. Nowadays, the country has 685 governmental higher education institutions and 619 nongovernmental higher education establishments (1,162 of which are state-accredited). In 2003—2004, the total number of students of higher education institutions was 5,947,500.There are three different degrees that are conferred by Russian universities: Bachelor's Degree (4 years), Specialist's Degree (5—6 years), and Master's Degree (6 years). Bachelor's degrees were introduced relatively recently and are not offered by many six-year institutions. After obtaining a Specialist's or Master's Degree, a student may pursue postgraduate education. The first level of postgraduate education is aspirantura that usually results in the Candidate of Sciences Degree, roughly equivalent to the Ph. D. in the United States. The second stage would result in the Doctor's Degree. A Candidate of Sciences Degree may be accompanied by honourary degree of assistant professor and a Doctor's Degree may be accompanied by honourary degree of professor.
