Present Perfect употребляется:
1) Для выражения действия, завершившегося к моменту речи, употребляется со следующими временными маркерами: just - только что, already - уже, yet - ещё, lately - недавно, of late - в последнее время, recently - недавно.

He has already posted it – Он уже отправил это
Have you just arrived? – Ты только что приехал?
3) Для выражения действия, которое завершилось, но тот период, в котором оно происходило, ещё продолжается, употребляется со следующими временными маркерами: today - сегодня, this week - на этой неделе, this month - в этом месяце.

I have spent all my money this morning – Я потратил все мои деньги этим утром (еще утро)
I have written two poems this week – Я написал два стихотворения на этой неделе
I have caught cold today – Я простудился сегодня
