Дядя Фёдор - это маленький мальчик, чересчур самостоятельный. Мальчик варит себе суп в 6 лет.
Папа дяди Фёдора - степенный, хороший семьянин. Любит читать газету на диване. Всегда слушается маму, не смотря на собственное мнение. 
Мама дяди Фёдора замечательная, но в доме произошёл конфликт. На лестничной площадке дядя Фёдор подбирает бездомного кота Матроскина. Римма мама Фёдора не любит животных она не разрешает мальчику оставить дома кота.Поэтому Фёдор берёт кота и сбегает, и начинает жить в Простаквашино.  
Пёс Шарик был бездомный и являлся жителем Простоквашино. Он показал домик, из которого хозяева уехали жить за реку и приглашали  жить в домике " Живите кто хотите. " Шарик повстречался Федору и Матроскину у самой деревни. Он попросил взять его к себе, но Матроскин сказал прибегать к ним только через год. Но дядя Федор твердым голосом сказал, что "хорошая собака - никому не помешает" и оставил Шарика.
