It was a warm day in the fall, i had been driving along the freeway since eight in the morning. Now it wat getting near lunchtime and i needed to fillp up the car in parking lot by higway and took a cab to the center. I started walking around and it was getting quite hot. Then i saw a nice little diner with tables out on the sidewalk. I had a hamburger with salad and French fries and drank a cool beer. I started talking with a truck driver who told me where to find a gas station. I thanked him and looked for a phone booth to call my wife. It was really a nice break.
