Because of the coronavirus, I spent this summer in Russia. I played and walked a lot. I went to St. Petersburg and to the rest house. In St. Petersburg, we settled in the center. There were beautiful old buildings there. I walked there a lot. On the last day, I watched the bridges being raised. After that I went to the rest house. There I managed to swim in the pool and meet new friends. the last week has arrived. I met with friends and we went to the movies. Then I went to buy things for the school.

English is my favourite language. I like learning it, even though it may be tough sometimes. When it gets too difficult, I try to cheer myself up and think of the reason why I have started my journey. English is useful for a lot of spheres of life. For example, I will be able to get a good job and meet interesting people. The English language also gives me the ability to travel around the globe without being afraid that I won’t be understood. It is an international language learnt by a lot of people. I love English and I hope that more and more children in my country will start learning it in the nearest future.
