Teatralnaya station of the Zamoskvoretskaya line of the Moscow metro. Station is limited to the hauls: "Theatrical" — "Tver", "Theatre" — "Novokuznetskaya". Located on the territory of Tverskoy district of the Central administrative district of Moscow. The current name of the station received at Theater square, under which is located (its original name was "Sverdlov Square"). Station "Theatre" is the latest work of the architect I. A. Fomin[3] and has the status of a newly detected object of cultural heritage[4]. Station design — pole three-vault deep foundations. The station opened on 11 September 1938 in the second stage of the Moscow metro.
"Theatre" is connected by transitions with two stations — "Okhotny Ryad" and "Revolution Square" does not have its own the transition among themselves. Both the ground lobby "Theater" combined with ground-based lobbies for those same stations.
