Semey — My Home City.
I live in the city of Semey. Semey is my hometown. I was born here. Here is my home, my family, and my friends.
Semey is a city with a great history. In 2018, it will be 300 years old.
The city is located in the East of Kazakhstan, on the Bank of the Irtysh river. The population of the city is about 340.000 people. Previously, it was called Semipalatinsk. Semei is a beautiful city. It has many parks, squares, theatres, stadiums, museums. In the centre of the city there is the Central Square. Residents of the city often rest there on the benches near the fountain. The city has a large library named after Abai. I love my home city very much, and I am very glad that I was born in Semey.
