The Olympic Games are a fascinating and interesting competition. They take place every four years. There are summer and winter Olympic games. To take prizes, sportsmen train the whole year round, without ceasing. Doing sports is useful for health. Initially, the Olympic Games were held in the city of Ancient Greece - Olympia. The first games took place in 776 B.C. For those times the Olympic Games were not just sports competitions, but a very important religious practice which was devoted to the main god of Greeks Zeus. A month before opening the games athletes arrived at Olympia where under the leadership of skilled trainers prepared for competitions. For the time of holding the Olympic Games, all wars were stopped and the sacred peace was established. Nowadays the Olympic Games are held every time in different countries and people all over the world watch them on TV with great pleasure.

The story tells us about a man and a lion who became best friends. One day a man, Androcles, tried to escape because he was a slave. In the forest into which he came, he found a hurt lion, whom he soon helped. Later they became friends and the lion even began to provide the man with food. After a while they were caught and taken to Rome, where they were given almost no food. The lion was offered to eat Androcles, which he did not, and the man managed to tell their story to The Emperor. Eventually they were released and given plenty of food.
