I live in a large flat. It is on the nineth floor. There are three bedrooms, a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom there. The first bedroom is my parents', the second one is my younger sister's and the third one is mine. As for the living-room, we all spend time there when we want to talk to each other. There are two armchairs and a big sofa in the centre of the room. The low table is in front of the sofa. There are also lots of paintings on the walls in the living-room. The chest of drawers is against one of the walls and the TV set is on it. Our kitchen is rather spacious. There are five chairs, a kitchen table to the right and I have to say the kitchen is definitely well-furnished. Finally, the bathroom is not as big as I would like it to be, but there is a shower cubicle which I prefer to use rather than use a bathtub. Finally, what I am trying to say is that I live in a fantastic flat.
I used to wear glasses when I was at school, and so I found sport very difficult. I wanted to be involved in school sports competitions, and I loved the idea of teams competing with each other, but being on the rugby team, for example, meant having to take off my glasses, and that meant that I couldn’t see! And it’s difficult to catch a ball when you can’t see it! So, I wasn’t very good and the captains always made sure that I wasn’t on their team. This meant I was free to do other activities, like being on the debating team, and actually I preferred to do things I was good at doing rather than have everyone laugh at me.
