here's my story about Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day

ususally every year we have this day called shrove tuesday, where people just gather around in families or just with their friends and just make lots of pancakes and eat them.

this day is preceding before ash wednesday / the first day of lent. which is celebrated in many countries consuming of making pancakes.

the word 'shrove' comes from the word 'shrive' which basically means to 'confess' so on that day you bake your pancakes and confess to people if you need so.

this day is to do with the religion, various religions such as Christians, Anglicians, Lutherans, Methodists and Roman catholic have it, what they are trying to explain is. they make a special point of self-examination, of considering what wrongs they need to repent.
