Jussi and I (1) met while we (2) were living in London. I (3) was renting a room in a house in North London and he (4) was staying with friends who offered to put him up. We both (5) had temporary jobs - at one time he (6) waited on tables in a cafe and I (7) washed dishes in a small restaurant. Anyway, we (8) got on really well and before long we (9) were planning to go on a long holiday together. That (10) was before the accident.
