Task. Read the text carefully and do the tasks.
Entertainment in the Past
Entertainment was very different in 19th century England. People didn't have TVs or radios and they couldn't go
to the cinema to see a film. Instead, people went to the theatre. It was not very expensive, so rich and poor
people could go there. They could see a different play every week. Oscar Wilde was a very popular playwright.
Sometimes, the theatre had special performances with magicians and jugglers too.
People also had books. Some writers like Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle, were very famous. Many
people were poor. They couldn't read, but they could listen to other people read. These people could enjoy the
theatre and books and forget their difficult lives for a little while.

Nowadays fast food is becoming more and more popular. In today's world there are teenagers who tend to think that fast food restaurants are beneficial, but there are towns who consider that they are harmful nearby parks or campus. Who is right? This question may be debated.
In my opinion, this issue is interesting and fast food restaurants have a lot of arguments for. To start with, we can eat whenever and wherever we want. It is good chance to save money and time. What is more, we can go to fast food restaurants to relax or to meet interesting people. It may be regarded as a step in the right direction in broadening our minds and expanding our outlooks.
However, this restaurants are criticised and they have arguments against. To begin with, it is dangerous to health. Consequently, we will have problems with our health and it can lead to serious diseases such as cancer or obesity. Secondly, it is expensive and not all people can afford to spend money. I can not agree with this view because it depends on a food.
All in all, it may arouse mixed fillings, but we should try to find the best use of it. I strongly believe that this problem is actual inspire of advantages and disadvantages.

Hello teacher, i hope you are good! i had an amazing summer. we went to maldives, for two weeks. we lived in a small island called maafusi. i loved this island. local people is so nice. and the place is beautiful. from our hotel we could see the sea. the ocean was crystal blue. and in the morning baby sharks comes to the beach. its a little bit scary. at the afternoon we eat papaya (tropical fruit). papaya is my favorite fruit after dragon fruit. than we went to the ocean to swim. for dinner we went to the other hotel. were was so many options for the dinner. mostly we eat see food. this how was my summer!   how was your summer? i hope you wasn't at school all summer!   love you, (name)
