I know that politics plays an important role in national life and to
of people. But I honestly do not know anything about politics! For me personally, it is very difficult to remember the terms and political parties. I am interested in politics only to the lessons of history, although I understand very little! My attitude to the policy neutral. Perhaps I will start to be interested in politics, when the time comes to go to vote. I do not understand why they are needed? Everything in our world is decided by money, not people's opinions, is not it? ( I think so)

1) The building where the British Parliament sits  is the Houses of Parliament, also called Palace of Westminster

2) The column in the middle of Trafalgar Square  is Nelson's Column

3) The old castle in the city, now a museum  is the Tower of London

4) The picture gallery in Trafalgar Square  is the National Gallery

5) The park in centre London  is Hyde Park

6) The place where tne British monarch lives when in London  is Buckingham Palace

7) The islands in the northwest of Europe  are the British Isles

8) The two countries situated on these islands  are the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (sometimes called Britain) and the Republic of Ireland

9)The four parts of the UK are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
