Hello! Today i want to tell about Queen Victoria. She was one of the most popular British monarchs.

Alexandrina Victoria was born on May 24, 1819 in London. Queen Victoria inherited the throne of Great Britain at the age of 18, after the death of her uncle William 4. At the age of 21, Victoria married her cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Then, he was died and Victoria mourned the death of her husband 10 years, and she wore black for the rest of her life.

The Victorian era was at the beight of the Industrial Revolution, a period of great social, economic and technological changes in the United Kingdom. In which she ruled from 1837 until her death.

Queen Victoria died on January 22, 1901 on the Isle of Wight, at the age 81.
