In my opinion, the Internet is not the best way to waste time. First, there is a lot of useless entertainment on the Internet. You can spend a lot of time watching YouTube or playing computer games.
Secondly, online shopping takes a lot of time. You scroll through a lot of information about a product and compare the characteristics of these products for a very long time and you may not buy anything at the end.
However, some believe that the internet helps in difficult times. For example, using the Internet, you can quickly find information than in a library. You can write what you want and find it in a second, while in the library you spend time looking for the books and information you need.
