What a Language Course Can Do
Complete the text using the verb in brackets in the correct tense.

I (learn) English for seven years now.
But last year I (not/work) hard enough in English and my marks (not / be) very good.
As I (want) to pass my English exam successfully next year, I (study) harder this term.
During my last summer holidays, my parents (send) me to a language course in London.
It (be) great and I (think) I (learn) a lot.
Before I (go) to London, I (not/enjoy) learning English.
But while I (do) the language course, I (meet) lots of young people from all over the world.
I (notice) how important it (be) to speak foreign languages nowadays.
Now I (have) much more fun learning English.
At the moment I (revise) English grammar.
And I (begin/already) to read the texts in my English textbooks again.
I (think) I (do) one unit every week.
My exam (be) on 15 May, so there (not/be) any time to lose.
If I (pass) my exams successfully, I (start) an apprenticeship in September.
Maybe I (go) back to London for a while when I finish my apprenticeship.
As you (see/can) , I (become) a real fan of London already.

Неопределённый артикль "a" ставится тогда,когда говорится о чем-то одим из многих,какой-то, любой предмет. Например: I'm a human( Я человек. Один из многих людей)
 С артиклем "an" тоже самое,но его ставят,когда последующее слово начинается с гласной (Например: an apple)
 С артиклем "the" немного посложнее.Это определенный артикль и ставится он в нескольких случаях:
1)С существительными, единственными в своем роде (Например: the moon,the sun(луна,солнце))                                                                                                          2)  С названиями частей света ( The South,the East, the West ...)                              3) С превосходной степенью прилагательных ( The biggest- самый большой)        4)  С порядковыми числительными (The first ,the second,the third -первый,второй,третий...)                                                                                              

A new year and a favorite holiday and adults and children. Santa Claus always leaves kids gifts in the stockings by the fireplace. In Ukraine, a traditional symbol called diduch. History tells us that the first New Year to our ancestors was quite spring holiday. Now we celebrate the New Year on January 1 of the 31st December with our beautiful Christmas tree and fireworks. Each family is counting every beat the clock and the twelfth cue opens champagne. Instead holiday January 1st Ukrainian was for fun secular holiday.

Історія розповідає нам,що спочатку Новий Рік для наших предків був цілком весняним святом. Зараз же ми святкуємо Новий рік з 31грудня на 1січня з нашою красунею ялинкою та святковим феєрверком. Кожна сім'я рахує кожен удар годинника і на дванадцятий биток відкриває шампанське. Натомість свято 1 січня стало для українців веселим світським святом.)
