Feing a
LIVING STATUE
Nowadays you see living statues all over the world.
They wear elaborate costumes and body paint, and
stand without moving for hours. But what's it like? Is it
difficult? I spoke to Nina, a living statue in London.
You need to be physically and mentally fit. It's
actually quite hard standing still
, and you have to eat
before you start or you feel ill.
We wear body paint so we look like real metal or
stone statues. Metallic paint takes over an hour to put
on and it's difficult to get off, too. Every week I have
a saune to clean my skin. I love designing different
costures and being creative. We even paint our
clothes to make them look heavy. In the winter you
need to wear thermal underwear under your costume
so you don't shiver with cold.
I've worked at glamorous birthday parties for famous
people, and in parks in the rain, and I've just been to
the World Championships in Holland. There were 300
statues and 300,000 visitors. It was incredible! Most​

4. My parents and I stayed in a five-star hotel in Spain. It was of the best hotels in Barcelona. It was called "The Serras". The hotel was very comfortable and luxurious. 

5. I saw many interesting places in Barcelona. I visited some beautiful churches, a magic fountain show, the Picasso Museum and two amazing parks.

6. I love sports. My friends and I played football and beach volleyball in summer. It was fun! 

7. I enjoyed my holidays very much! I saw new places, learnt a lot about other countries and people, enjoyed an amazing time with my parents and had a wonderful rest!

5. Я видел много интересных мест в Барселоне. Я посетил несколько красивых церквей, шоу волшебных фонтанов, Музей Пикассо и два удивительных парка.

6. Я люблю спорт. Летом мы с друзьями играли в футбол и пляжный волейбол. Было весело! 

7. Мне очень понравился мой отдых! Я увидел новые места, узнал много нового о других странах и людях, с удовольствием провел время с родителями и прекрасно отдохнул!
