It was Friday evening. Liz was looking forward to Saturday because it was her husband’s birthday.

She had been preparing for this event for a long time. She had invited their college friends and they were all coming from different cities. The best part was that Carlos, her husband, didn't know anything about the arrangements. It was going to be a surprise. Liz was making sandwiches when Carlos came into the kitchen. “Look, darling,” he said, “I know it’s my birthday tomorrow but I don’t want to do anything special for it.” Liz thought, “I wish I could cancel the party but I can’t – it’s too late. The party will take place anyway and it will be the best party ever”. When Carlos came home on Saturday, there were lots of people there. Carlos told them that he felt very happy to see them all and it was true! The guests enjoyed their dinner and then Liz brought in a cake. The cake was decorated with chocolates and jellies, and it had as many candles as the number of years Carlos had reached that day. Carlos couldn’t blow them out on the first try and his friends were delighted to help him.

My favourite kind of sport is football.I like both to play football and watch it on TV.Football is very popular in the world because it is a breathtaking sport.A lot of children, teenagers and adults play football at the stadiums or in the sport sections every day because they would like to become professional footballers and set new worlds records.
As for me,I want to be a professional football player too.I go to the football section twice a week.But I have extra Maths and English classes after school,that is why I can't practice a lot in football.If only I had more time to do all activities and play football more often.
