Education prospects Let’s try to imagine the world without education, without any schools, colleges and universities. What would that be like? No school means no knowledge and skills. No university means no doctors, no engineers and no scientists. Therefore, it means no development and no inventions. Would you like to live in such a world?

Nowadays there are different kinds of education, but the most widespread is still the traditional one that includes the set of establishments providing education. For the vast majority of people, the first step is a primary school where students get the basic skills of reading, writing and counting. The next stage is secondary school which gives broad knowledge about various subjects and prepares students for future professional education. At the end of the last form school children take exams and after school graduation they have several options: to stop studying and get a job or get professional education in college or university. Students’ life is not easy because they have to take exams every term and study hard to succeed. Most people remember students’ years as the best time of their lives, full of fun and entertainment.

However, the modern world is full of new opportunities to get education. More and more schools and universities provide on-line courses and training. It has some advantages for sure, because you study in a comfortable place at a comfortable time. Also, some alternative ways are becoming more and more popular, e.g. home education or some approaches connected with developing the mind without books and strict systems.

So, it’s necessary to study and develop your skills, to use the experience of others to create your own ideas in order to implement them in life.

I think that my school is the best one. I love it very much. Our teachers are kind and intelligent and my classmates are smart and friendly. But everybody has a dream. The dream about our new school - the school of the future. Now I would like to tell you a few words about my ideal school. First of all If I were a Headteacher of my school I would allowed everybody to have an opportunity to use one's phone. The second thing is our homework. So much of it! Don't the teachers know that it is waste of time, our time and theirs. The next. Our holidays. I would like to travel a lot. But when? Our holidays must be a bit longer I think. And at last the equipment of our classrooms! What do we see? There are few computers which we can use. My dream is every classroom has ten and more new computers with Internet. It's school of my dream.

How are the things going on? Did something new happen in your life? Having received your letter, I wanted to answer it immediately but I was working a lot during the last two weeks. So I was pressed for time and did not manage to carry out my intentions.

In my country spring has already set. It is quite warm and really sunny all days long. Being at work I always imagine myself strolling down some parks. I wish you could join me! It would be funny! Some days ago my friend advised me to read a very interesting book. I did it and I would like you to know this author. Are you ready to read good literature?

Tell me more about your work and free time. Are you satisfied with all this? What are your plans for this summer? Maybe we will be able to meet one day?
