But if an actor has just got one speaking part in a
movie, they aren't an extra any more. What are
they exactly then? They're not main actors, of
course, you probably won't see their name at the
start of the movie although sometimes they
completely change the story in the movie. Their
roles can be very important, even if they only say
one single line. This kind of role is called a 'bit
part'.
