Some people enjoy living in the cities and some people prefer living in the countryside. Nowadays, more than
30% of the population worldwide and 42% of the population in Kazakhstan live in the countryside. There are
various reasons for this, but mostly people move out to live in the countryside because life in the city is too
stressful for some people.
There are many positive reasons for living in the countryside such as picturesque scenery, fresh air, quiet and
relaxed lifestyle. People can grow their own fruit and vegetables there. People can enjoy nature because
there are a lot of free places for walking, cycling, swimming, fishing, hiking and even climbing sometimes.
Also, people can stay healthy because of different physical activities, such as growing vegetables, keeping
domestic animals, and looking after the house.
Living in the countryside is very important because of agriculture. Agriculture in Kazakhstan consists of crop
production and animal breeding. Crop production is the main part of agriculture as it takes 56% of all
products, and animal breeding - 44%. Agriculture is a very important part of human lives as it gives people
high-quality food
