About the city of Korolev!

The city of Korolev (until 1996 - Kaliningrad) is one of the largest research and production centers in the Moscow region.

Kaliningrad was formed in 1938 based on the village. Kalininsky. In 1960, the city of Kostino was included in its structure, in 1963 — the workers' settlements of Pervomaisky and Tekstilshchiki and the dacha village of Bolshevo. The merger of these settlements into a single urban organism is still taking place.

The oldest part of the city is Bolshevo. (In documents of the XVI-XVIII centuries it was written Bolshevo or Bolshovo.
